Cannon Hill Family Chiropractic Centre has served Brisbane's southside from 985 Wynnum Road since 1999, and the practice is owned and led by Dr Patrick McPhie. Dr McPhie holds a Master of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science from Macquarie University and has been in clinical practice since 2004, working across Sydney, Glasgow and Melbourne before establishing the Cannon Hill clinic as his base. He holds general registration with AHPRA (CHI0001141860).

What sets the practice apart is its exclusive use of the Neuro Impulse Protocol, a low-force, assessment-based chiropractic technique developed by Dr Neil Davies. Corrections are applied by hand in a neutral position, with no cracking, twisting or high-velocity manipulation, and the clinic describes the approach as suitable for the whole family, including newborns and pregnant patients. Dr McPhie trained directly under Dr Davies, sits on the international NIP teaching team, and has presented the technique at symposiums in Hong Kong, Sardinia, Tenerife, Langkawi and Croatia. He has a longstanding interest in paediatric care, having spent a decade with Kiro Kids, and continues postgraduate study in functional neurology.

The practice sees patients across the full age range, from newborns and expectant mothers through to school-aged children, desk workers and competitive athletes, with much of the caseload centred on back and neck complaints, headaches and recurring sporting problems. Remedial massage is available alongside chiropractic care.

Fees are published openly, with an initial consultation at $155, a standard consultation at $78 and an extended consultation at $110. HICAPS is available on site for on-the-spot private health fund claiming, EFTPOS is accepted, DVA Gold and White card holders are bulk billed, and Medicare Enhanced Primary Care and Team Care Arrangement referrals are welcomed. No referral is required to attend, parking is available at the rear of the clinic, and patients travel from Morningside, Camp Hill, Carina, Bulimba and the surrounding eastern suburbs.
