Having developed an extensive background in personal training, exercise physiology and athletic performance, Dr Daniel Yazbek Is able to combine the scientific application of Sports and exercise with chiropractic.

This is known as Sports Chiropractic. Also known as chiropractic sports sciences/medicine, this an emerging field for those with an interest and expertise in treating athletes.

The focus of sports chiropractors is to provide care in the conservative management, rehabilitation and performance optimization of the neuromusculoskeletal system for athletes and to participate in a multi-disciplinary sports injury care environment.

At the Chiro Hub, we strongly believe that it is essential to examine and analyse your 1) previous and current medical history 2) movement biomechanics and 3) stage of skill acquisition, in regards to your chosen sport or activity. Full attainment and understanding of your sporting demands along with these three scientific areas, are essential for complete care. It is important that we understand and gather as much relevant information form you, that is relevant to your medical, physical and biomechanical examination, so that our treatments can be effective, efficient and specific for you. We advise that that you acknowledge the expectations we have for you along the course of treatment.

Following our initial health and medical screening and any related questions that you might have in regards to you history, we will further examine:

  1. Postural analysis
  2. Neurological/Orthopaedic assessment
  3. Selective Functional Movement Assessment
  4. Local biomechanical testing
  5. Relevant chiropractic and physical examination

If required, further examinations such as laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging and other diagnostic interventions may be ordered to determine whether treatment is appropriate.

If Chiropractic treatment is not suitable for your current condition, you will be requested to make an appointment with your general practitioner as to what examinations/treatments are necessary.
